sounds like a direct (and awkward) translation of self-expression. what a mouthful. :)
isn't keeping an LJ a form of self-expression? :) or, at least, it can be. i think of it more as a social thing. i guess the problem with self-expression is that it's very self-centered, it has nothing to do with audience, with listeners. you're not writing poems for them, not writing songs for them, you're just spewing whatever's inside of yourself. in some cases it's like verbal vomit. :)
